  1. M CON welcomes participants from all countries.
  2. All submitted entries can be made from kits of any brands, purchased from any retailer. Kit-bashed and scratch-built models are allowed.
  3. Modifications and conversions are allowed, including the use of other manufacturers' products.
    (e.g. new decals, figures, diorama materials or photo-etch, detail sets etc)
  4. All entries must be wholly constructed and finished by the participant.
  5. Competition entries must be submitted by the participant or his representative during the registration period (12pm-9pm, 19 Nov 2008).
  6. All entries must be submitted at the contest venue at the time stated. Latecomers will not be entertained.
  7. Participants may submit up to a maximum of 3 entries only.
  8. Models or Dioramas entered in previous Tamiya Modelling Competitions are not eligible for participation in M CON 2008 Competition.
  9. Models previously submitted to other (non-Stargek) competitions are allowed to take part in M CON 2008.
  10. Nude, provocative or offensive subjects are prohibited.
  11. The organisers reserve the right to disqualify an entry for violating the rules and regulations.
  12. The organisers may merge or split categories without prior notice.
  13. The organisers reserve the right to shift an entry to a more appropriate category without prior notice.
  14. All decisions and judging results are final.
  15. The organisers reserve the rights to use the photographs of the entries for publicity purposes.
  16. Main Committee members and Judges may take part in M CON and will ONLY qualify for M CON Awards. No sponsored awards will be awarded.
    Judges can only take part in categories that they are not judging.


  1. Rules in Section A apply.
  2. Only resin model kits and resin conversion kits are allowed in the two G-kit categories.


  1. Eligible for modellers 16 years and younger.
  2. Judges can push a Junior entry to the main category if the standard is sufficiently high.


  1. No entry fees are needed to join this competition.
  2. Modellers are encouraged to submit their models in a plastic display case for protection and presentation.
  3. Submitted models may be handled by Organisers and Judges during the event.
  4. The Organisers will not be held liable for any loss or damage to displayed models during the event.
  5. Award winners are highly encouraged to attend the prize presentation ceremony. Please make arrangements to be represented if you are unable to attend.
  6. Participants must collect their entries after the prize presentation. All unclaimed models will be disposed of, at the sole discretion of the organisers.
  7. These Rules are subjected to change in any shape or form without prior notice. Please refer to this page for the latest updates. By submitting any contest entries, you agree to be bound by all of these rules and regulations.
